Fill in the gaps with the correct form of 'used to' or 'be used to' plus the correct form of the verb in brackets:

1. I (hate) sushi, but now I quite like it.

2. I feel so tired because I  (not) (wake up) early.

3. When I was younger, I  (play) the piano very well.

4. As a teacher I  (deal with) difficult children.

5. I feel sad that we lost the game.  We are a very good team, so we  (not) (lose).

6. This building  (be) a concert hall.

7. I feel quite nervous about the presentation, because I  (not) (speak) in front of large groups of people.

8. When I was a teenager I was very rude to my parents.  I  (not) (understand) how difficult it was for them to deal with me!
