Future From the Past Gap-Fill Exercise

Fill in the gaps with an appropriate verb in the appropriate tense to talk about future from the past.  Some of the verbs are given in brackets

1. John said that he (help) us with moving house, but now he says he is unvailable

2. I the house before the visitors came, but I completely forgot about it!

3. I didn't think I the exam, but unfortunately I did so I won't be able to go to the college I wanted to go to
