Private or Group Online Financial English classes
Sound more professional in finance with teachers who can discuss markets, economy, finance and geopolitics in depth
At Fluency Space, we understand that discussing current affairs is essential for any finance professional. Whether this is as part of small talk before a meeting, or an essential factor which influences your financial decision making, we are constantly in touch with the latest global economic developments, and we are ready to discuss them with you!
We always have articles ready from the Financial Times, Bloomberg, The Economist and other major news outlets to discuss with you based on your region and your interest. As we discuss these topics on a daily basis, we know exactly what is going on!
All vocabulary and grammar that we learn is added to a personal Google Document, which is used as a basis for reviewing and implementing everything that we have learnt. At the beginning of every lesson with Fluency Space, we always carry out a vocabulary review in the form of quick-fire spoken exercises.
For everything that we learn, we need to ensure that we can use it in active speaking. At Fluency Space, we use specific techniques to move discussion towards using vocabulary that we have covered in previous lessons. Selected phrases are visible on a digital whiteboard to make it easier to implement new phrases actively. We also use gamification to see how many new phrases students can get into the discussion. We can demonstrate all techniques for you in a $2 trial lesson.
At Fluency Space, we understand exactly which grammar topics might cause you to sound less professional when discussing finance and economics. We assess your grammar at the beginning of the course, and we cover all key grammar elements that you might be lacking:
For all students who book a package or 5 or more lessons, Fluency Space can offer a complete guide specifically aiming to explain how we use verb tenses and structures to discuss numbers, charts, graphs and trends. It also explains why not to use the same verb tenses as you see in news articles.
